Avraham Massias, a 22-year-old student at the Yesodot Hatorah Yeshiva in Tel Aviv, passed away suddenly on his way home for Shabbat.

Witnesses reported that Massias collapsed around 5:00 p.m. yesterday (Thursday) while waiting at a bus stop near the yeshiva. A fellow yeshiva student who was present immediately began resuscitation efforts.

Paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) arrived and continued lifesaving attempts before transporting him to Ichilov Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

According to acquaintances, Massias had called his father on Thursday morning, complaining of chest pains, but he declined to seek medical attention. Friends and peers remembered him as a dedicated student with an exemplary character and a deep commitment to his studies.

Massias was laid to rest in a somber funeral on Thursday night, leaving the yeshiva community and his family in mourning over his untimely loss.
