Border Guard undercover officers worked together with Border Guard officers in the Jerusalem Envelope area and the Police aerial array to ensure law and order in the Shuafat refugee camp today (Tuesday).

During this activity, disturbances erupted in a number of areas including dozens of rioters throwing stones and blocks on officers.

The undercover officers, whom the Police said felt their lives were in danger, responded by firing towards a number of the attackers and neutralizing them. The officers are unharmed.

The Police reiterated that any attempt to disturb the peace or commit harmful and violent attacks will be met with a determined response and zero tolerance, and that anyone who chooses to endanger police officers or civilians is endangering their own life.

Meanwhile, the IDF and other security forces launched a major combined operation against Hamas terrorists in Jenin today entitled Iron Wall, with the aim of destroying armed groups and infrastructure which threaten not only Israeli citizens and soldiers but also the forces and officials of the Palestinian Authority.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that the operation was part of Israel's efforts to eliminate the Iranian threat wherever it manifests itself - Gaza, Lebanon, Iraq, Iran, Yemen, and elsewhere.

Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said that the operation is a sign of how the government has now added restoring security to Judea and Samaria as one of the aims of the war.

Elsewhere, a terrorist named Abdelaziz Kaddi, a Moroccan citizen born in 1995, committed a lone stabbing attack in Tel Aviv, lightly wounding two adults and moderately wounding two others.

Kaddi was a recipient of an American diversity visa in 2022 and entered the country three days ago.

The Border Control officials did not want to let him enter due to his complete lack of plans regarding where to stay or relatives he could visit, but the Shin Bet allowed him in.

Interior Minister Moshe Arbel praised the Border Control officers for their diligence and alertness and asked that Shin Bet director Ronen Bar conduct an inquiry into the failure to stop the terrorist from entering.
