The release of the three hostage women, Romi Gonen, Emily Damari and Doron Steinbrecher, from Hamas captivity last night (Sunday) in the Gaza Strip, was staged by Hamas to appear as if there were many more people than were actually there.
In the first stage on their way to Israel, the three were brought in Hamas vehicles and handed over to the Red Cross. In a deliberate and vicious manner, the terrorist organization chose to hold the "transfer ceremony" in the center of Gaza City, in the midst of a gathering, bloodthirsty crowd, when it seemed that the terrorists were not in control of the event.
In footage that poured in from the scene and reached the eyes of millions of worried and alert Israelis, Gazans are seen gathering around the hostages, climbing on Hamas vehicles, and almost lynching the three heroic hostages.
However, in the aerial footage of the incident, it appears that in contrast to the image presented by the organization, in which a crowd of Gazans cheering for Hamas is supposedly gathered near high-rise buildings in the heart of Gaza, it appears that there were far fewer people there, and that it is was in a mostly destroyed area with only one side of the building remaining standing.
Again and again, the murderous terrorist organization exploits the feelings of Israelis who seek to retrieve their brethren, and makes sure to maximize every such event to step as hard as possible on the beating heart of the people living in Zion.
