In a short story she posted on her Instagram page this morning (Monday), former hostage Emily Damari, who returned to her family yesterday and moved the entire Jewish people, expressed her feelings.
"Love you, love you, love you," she wrote, "I thank God, I thank my family, to Oreli, the best friends I have in this world. I've returned to life, my beloved ones."
She added: "I was able to see only a fraction of everything and my heart has exploded with excitement. Thank you, thank you, thank you. The happiest thing in the world is just to be."
Emily Damari was released yesterday from Hamas captivity in Gaza, along with Romi Gonen and Doron Steinbrecher. During the night, the three were hospitalized at Sheba Hospital in Tel Hashomer.
Last night, Damari, draped in an Israeli flag, was filmed entering the medical center in Tel Hashomer and embracing her family with excitement. Prior to that, she spoke to her relatives via video, revealing her hand that was injured in the Hamas attack on Israel.
