Israel was pleased with the smooth handover of three of the 100-odd hostages still held by Hamas today (Sunday), and now looks forward to next week, when four more hostages will be released, according to Ynet reporter Itamar Eichner.

According to Eichner, seven women remain in Hamas captivity - Arbel Yehud, Shiri Bibas, Karina Ariev, Liri Elbag, Daniella Gilboa, Na'ama Levy, and Agam Berger - four of whom may be released this coming week.

Israel is expected to receive a list from the Qatari Prime Minister, which Israeli officials believe will include one civilian and three military observers, who were kidnapped from their base on October 7 when it was raided by Hamas terrorists.

According to Kann News, Israel will be set to receive a list of all the hostages to be released in the first round within the week and their condition, including whether they are alive or dead.

The insistence on receiving such a list was one of the sticking points of negotiations between Israel and Hamas, as Israel insisted on receiving a list before agreeing to a deal while Hamas insisted it needed a ceasefire to reestablish contact with the terrorists guarding the hostages to determine this information.

Qatar, which has promised to hand over the next list of hostages to be released, has reiterated its commitment to ensuring every phase of the deal is completed, despite Israel's insistence that it reserves the right to restart the war against Hamas and even has guarantees from the US to this effect.

President Biden took full credit for the success of the hostage deal, and he and the leaders of Britain, France, and Germany have called for the ceasefire and the end to the war to be a chance for the Palestinians to have their own state which will coexist alongside Israel and not commit another massacre like October 7.
