The ceasefire that was supposed to go into effect at 8:30 a.m. (Israel time) was postponed as Hamas has not yet released the names of the hostages to be released today.
This evening (Sunday) the first three hostages are supposed to be released as part of the deal, and immediately afterwards Israel will release dozens of dangerous terrorists with blood on their hands.
Hamas has violated one of the first conditions of the agreement, when it was supposed to transfer the names of the three hostages to be released. Hamas is supposed to hand over the names to Qatar, and from there the list will be passed on to Mossad officials, who will update the families.
The Saudi Al-Arabiya TV reported last night that Hamas would transfer the list "at dawn," after transferring the hostages to a "safe place," but dawn has already passed.
The Prime Minister's Office reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a security assessment overnight regarding the delay in receiving the list of hostages to be released. The Prime Minister instructed the IDF that the ceasefire will not begin until Israel has the list of released hostages that Hamas has pledged to provide.
In contrast to Hamas, the Ministry of Justice has published a list of more than 700 terrorists who will be released as part of the deal, 90 of whom are expected to be released this evening. It should be noted that as part of the first phase of the deal alone, 1,904 terrorists will be released from Israeli prisons, including many murderers.
Last night, hundreds demonstrated at the entrance to Jerusalem against the deal, blocking the road at the Chords Bridge. The police acted to repel demonstrators and arrested three demonstrators who disturbed the peace and attacked police officers.
