Following the government's approval of the hostage deal tonight (between Friday and Saturday), the Ministry of Justice published a full list of 735 security prisoners who are expected to be released in the first phase of the deal.
The published list includes full details about each prisoner, including his name, age, organization to which he belongs, and the offenses he committed. The list also includes prisoners with Israeli citizenship.
Mahmoud Atallah: The terrorist was indicted for a series of rapes and indecent acts by force that he committed against female guards at Gilboa Prison in 2015-2016. Sentenced to life imprisonment in 2003.
Zakaria Zubeidi: Commander of Fatah's Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades in Jenin, responsible for dozens of terrorist acts during the second intifada. Zubeidi, who was among the prisoners who escaped from Gilboa Prison in September 2021, is believed to be responsible for the 2002 attack on the Likud branch in Beit She'an, in which six people were murdered.
Hamas's Silwan squad, Wael Qassem and Wissam Abbasi: Responsible for a series of deadly attacks in which 35 Israelis were murdered, including the attacks at the Moment Cafe in Jerusalem, the Sheffield Club in Rishon Lezion and the Frank Sinatra Cafeteria at the Hebrew University.
Anwar Bisharat: Affiliated with Fatah, serving a life sentence and an additional 30 years in prison for the murder of Masoud Allon in December 2002. He lured Alon to the northern Jordan Valley under the pretext that they wanted to buy clothes from him, and there he beat and stabbed him to death and set his body on fire. Intended for deportation.
Ahmad Barghouti: Commander of Fatah's military wing in the Ramallah area, serving 13 life sentences. He was convicted of murdering 12 people in a series of suicide bombings during the second intifada, including the attack at the Seafood Market restaurant in Tel Aviv and the attacks in Neve Yaakov and Jaffa Street in Jerusalem.
Amjad Hamed: Hamas squad member, serving a life sentence for the murder of Malachi Rosenfeld in a shooting attack in June 2015. Hamed was convicted of involvement in two other attempted attacks. He is destined for deportation.
Ibrahim Salah: Sentenced in 1992 to two life sentences and 20 years in prison for the murder of the late Prof. Menachem Stern, the late Eli Amsalem and the late Hussein Zayed. He was released in 2013 in a deal and arrested again in 2015 after stabbing a policeman at Damascus Gate.
Adham Younis: A senior Islamic Jihad operative serving five life sentences for his involvement in the 2005 attack at the Sharon Mall in Netanya, in which five Israelis were murdered and more than 40 were wounded.
Osama Al-Ashqar: A senior member of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, serving eight life sentences and 50 years in prison for planning and executing two attacks in 2002 in Kibbutz Metzer and Hermesh, in which eight were murdered.
Ahmad Dahidi: Senior Islamic Jihad figure, serving two life sentences for his part in the murder of the late Eli Biton in a shooting attack in the village of Gadish in January 2003. Dahidi provided weapons to two terrorists and recruited collaborators who led them to the target, where they fired at a moving bus. The military court ruled that he was the "driving force" behind the attack, and convicted him on 47 counts. He is destined for deportation.
Ahmed Aref al-Asafra: A member of a Hamas squad, serving a life sentence for the attempted abduction and murder of 19-year-old Dvir Yehuda Soreq. The attack took place on August 7, 2019, in Gush Etzion.
Ahmed Obeid, a Hamas operative from east Jerusalem, sentenced to seven life sentences for sending a terrorist who carried out the attack at Café Hillel in Jerusalem in September 2003, in which seven people were murdered and 64 were wounded.
Ahmad Fani: Affiliated with Islamic Jihad, serving a life sentence for his involvement in the murder of Staff Sergeant Assaf Fuchs in March 2003 in the village of Saida. He was also convicted of aiding and abetting the attacks in Hermesh and Metzer in which eight people were murdered, and of attempted suicide bombings.
Bilal Abu Ghanem: Sentenced to three life sentences and 60 years in prison for the murder of three Israelis and the wounding of 15 others in a bus attack in Armon Hanatziv in Jerusalem in October 2015.
Bilal Abu Zeid: Sentenced to life imprisonment for his part in the murder of the late Border Police soldier Hadar Cohen in the combined attack at Damascus Gate in February 2016.
Bashir Haruv: Sentenced to life imprisonment and another 10 years in prison for the murder of the late Colonel Sarya (Yaya) Ofer in his home in the settlement of Brosh in the Jordan Valley in 2013. At the end of the hearing, he declared that "the murder is dedicated to the heroes of Hamas and the Palestinian people."
Jaafar Yusef Abu Hanani: Sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of Dina Guetta in Haifa in 2001, an attack he carried out in order to be accepted into a cell that was in contact with Hezbollah operatives.
Muhammad Hariush: Head of Hamas' military wing in Tulkarm. He was involved in planning the attack at the Park Hotel in Netanya in 2002 in which 30 people were murdered. Detained by Israeli security forces in 2009 southwest of Bethlehem.
Muhammad Musleh: A Tanzim terrorist sentenced to life imprisonment and slated for permanent deportation. He was convicted of participating in a lynching in Ramallah, in which two reservists, Vadim Norzic and Yossi Avrahami, were murdered, and was also convicted of the murder of eight Israelis in various shooting attacks in the northern Jerusalem area. He was also convicted of participating in and planning a series of other attacks in which more than 50 Israelis were injured, and sentenced to nine cumulative life sentences.
Shadi Abu Shehadam: Fatah activist sentenced to life in prison for planning the suicide bombing on Jaffa Street in Jerusalem in January 2002, during which a female suicide bomber detonated a 22-kilogram explosive device, killing an 81-year-old Israeli civilian and wounding 100 people.
