Israel's Secret War on Iran’s Nukes: Mossad’s Explosive Sabotage Unveiled

A secret mission: Iran Claims Israeli Spies Sabotaged Nuclear Sites

Iran has accused Israel of orchestrating one of the most sophisticated nuclear sabotage operations in recent history. In an interview on Wednesday, Iranian Vice President Mohammad Javad Zarif alleged that Israeli intelligence agents successfully planted explosives within the country's nuclear facilities.

Zarif shared his claims with Hozour News, which was later quoted by Iran International. He explained that Iranian officials had procured a centrifuge platform for the Atomic Energy Organization, only to discover that explosives had been secretly implanted inside it.

He further detailed that sanctions forced Iran to source equipment through multiple intermediaries rather than directly from manufacturers. Zarif suggested that if Israel infiltrates even one of these intermediaries, it could plant explosives, as was allegedly done in this case.

While Zarif did not specify a timeframe for the sabotage, his remarks come after a series of explosions at Iran’s Natanz facility. In July 2020, a significant explosion rocked the site, and less than a year later, in April 2021, another attack targeted its underground enrichment facilities. Initially downplayed by Iran, the attacks were later revealed to have caused significant damage, destroying advanced centrifuge assembly lines that were crucial to Iran’s nuclear program.

Although Israel has never officially taken responsibility for these attacks, former Mossad chief Yossi Cohen strongly hinted at the agency’s involvement. In a 2021 interview with Channel 12 News, Cohen described how Iran received "marble foundations" that were secretly laced with explosives.

“The person responsible for these explosions made sure to provide the Iranians with the marble foundation on which the centrifuges are placed,” Cohen said. “As they installed this foundation within the Natanz facility, they had no idea that it already contained a large amount of explosives.”

Cohen also touched on the 2020 assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, describing how a remotely operated machine gun attached to a pickup truck was used to kill him. Although Cohen did not confirm Israel’s role in the assassination, his comments further fueled speculation about Israeli involvement.

In Israel, all security-related news must pass through military censors before being published. Given that Cohen's statements were allowed to reach the public, many believe this was not a coincidence. Zarif's recent comments appear to confirm what has long been suspected: Israel is conducting an ongoing campaign to undermine and sabotage Iran's nuclear program at any cost.
