Crush Hamas then make deals

Trump official: U.S. will back Israel’s war efforts 100% if Hamas violates deal

Incoming U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz: "Hamas must not be allowed to control anything. People talk to me about practice, I don't think it's practical and it certainly not acceptable even to the Palestinians."

Incoming U.S. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz stated on Wednesday that the Trump administration would fully support Israel’s military action against Hamas in Gaza if the group violates the terms of the ceasefire.

"We’ve made it very clear to the Israelis, and I want the people of Israel to hear me on this - if they need to go back in, we’re with them. If Hamas doesn’t live up to the terms of this agreement, we are with them," Waltz, the Republican representative from Florida's 6th District, said during an interview with Fox News anchor Bret Baier.

Waltz emphasized that Hamas must not continue as a military force and should never govern Gaza. "Hamas is not going to continue as a military entity and it certainly is not going to govern Gaza," he added.

He also addressed concerns over the Palestinian terrorists released as part of the ceasefire agreement, defending the decision by pointing to the horrific conditions the hostages have faced. "At the end of the day, those hostages have been down there in those tunnels getting raped, abused, in horrific conditions. They have been there longer than the 1979 hostages, in much more horrific conditions," Waltz said, referencing the Iran hostage crisis.

Waltz revealed that 25 out of 33 hostages scheduled for release in the first stage of the agreement are alive. "I’m convinced they all would have died if President Trump hadn’t come in and said get them out," he stated.

He concluded by noting that hostages will be reunited with their families as President Trump is sworn in on January 20, calling it an event for the nation to celebrate.
