Families of hostages to cabinet members: "We urge you to resign immediately"

The families of the hostages from the "Hope Forum" expressed criticism of the hostage deal and called on cabinet members: "Before you vote, think of those who will be left behind. Of those who will not return and those who will be killed in future terrorist attacks."

The families of the hostages from the "Hope Forum" responded this evening (Wednesday) to the signing of the hostage deal, addressing the cabinet members and urging them not to approve the deal – and instead to act to dismantle Hamas.

"Families of hostages from the Hope Forum are concerned about the deal signed with the terrorist organization that needs to be destroyed. This is a deal that will effectively leave dozens of hostages behind and pave the way for the next massacre and more hostages," they said. "We are as excited as all of Israel when we see the hostages returning home after a long and cruel captivity at the hands of a terrorist organization that has nothing and no one in common with humanity, but as mentioned, this deal is dangerous, both for the hostages who will remain in captivity and for all of Israel."

"Tomorrow, the cabinet will convene to vote on this deal. Cabinet members: before you vote, think about those who will be left behind. About those who will not return and those who will be killed in future terrorist attacks," they added and called out. "We urge you to resign immediately and not be part of a government that leaves dozens of hostages behind!"

"We demand that you act to bring about a responsible deal that returns all our loved ones in one go!" they concluded. "We will not stop and we will not rest until we ensure the return of all our captives home, and the safety of Israeli citizens and IDF soldiers who might pay the highest price of all."
