A political source is now denying the report in the newspaper "Al-Arabi Al-Jadid," which stated that the deal was originally delayed due to new Israeli demands.
"Hamas is making a false claim that Israel added new conditions in the negotiations – to stall executing the deal," a political source reported.
Earlier today, we reported that the Qatari newspaper "Al-Araby Al-Jadeed," published in London, reported today (Wednesday) that the ceasefire agreement exists in practice, but the announcement of it is delayed until there is an agreement on the implementation mechanisms of the commitments in the agreement. Later today it was indeed revealed and published that a hostage deal has been made and agreed upon by both sides.
It was also claimed that Prime Minister Netanyahu "tried to sabotage" the agreement at its final moments by demanding the addition of kidnapped soldiers to the list of those to be released, 33 in number, in the first phase in exchange for the release of a thousand Palestinian terrorists.
Additionally, the source noted that the "category" of the kidnapped soldiers will be released after an agreement on special keys of Palestinian terrorists who will be released for them at a later stage in the deal.
Last night, a senior Hamas official stated that the organization has not yet provided its response because Israel has not yet supplied the maps that would clarify the areas to which it will withdraw.
