Israeli security forces are preparing for a complex operation to release and return the hostages, codenamed "Derech Eretz" (Way of the Land). According to Channel 12 News, the operation involves extensive cooperation between multiple agencies: IDF, Shin Bet, Israeli Police, Ministry of Health, Red Cross, and Egypt.

The entire system is waiting for the political echelon to finalize the framework that will determine the exact release mechanism. Israeli teams in Qatar are currently holding frequent discussions and updating the Prime Minister's Office every few hours. However, the agreement has not yet been signed due to several remaining gaps, and efforts to complete the framework continue in the coming hours and days.

According to Channel 12, the planned operation will include precise numbers of hostages to be released in each phase, their identity, and medical condition. One of the main challenges is ensuring the hostages' safety during their movement within the Gaza Strip, especially given past experience from the previous round where crowd gatherings endangered their lives.

The Red Cross will be responsible for transporting hostages within Gaza, with exit points possible from the north, center, or south of the Strip. At the Israeli border, Shin Bet and IDF personnel will receive the hostages, verify their identity, and conduct initial debriefing. A medical team will also be stationed there to provide immediate care if needed, as some hostages are known to be in serious condition.

After initial processing, hostages will be airlifted to hospitals where medical teams and social workers will be waiting. Only then will the long-awaited reunion with family members take place.

According to Health Ministry guidelines, released hostages will be received at 3-5 major medical centers, where they will receive initial treatment in isolated and secured areas. Those in serious condition requiring urgent medical care will be transferred to southern hospitals, while others will be treated at major medical centers in central Israel.

Known Agreement Details:

- The process will last 42 days

- Initially, 33 Israeli hostages will be released according to Israel's provided list

- Release order includes civilian women, Bibas family children, five female observers, those over 50, and those with special medical conditions

- Around 1,000 prisoners will be released in exchange

- Humanitarian aid will increase to 600 trucks daily

- After day 22, displaced persons can return to northern Gaza

- IDF will withdraw from specific areas while maintaining limited presence

The agreement must still receive final approval from the Security Cabinet and government, with the public having at least 48 hours to file Supreme Court petitions before releases begin. While Israel hasn't received exact information about the hostages' condition, intelligence assessments suggest most are alive.
