BIBI: "Sorry to disappoint"

Are Benjamin and Sarah Netanyahu getting DIVORCED?!

A wave of speculation about potential marital issues between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sarah has been firmly rejected by family confidant Nathan Eshel, who addressed rumors that emerged after Mrs. Netanyahu's two-month stay in the United States extended beyond its planned duration and throughout the Prime Minister's recent hospitalization.

Nathan Eshel, a long-time confidant of the Netanyahu family, has strongly denied circulating rumors about potential marital issues between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sarah. The speculation emerged after Mrs. Netanyahu's two-month stay in the United States extended well beyond its planned duration of 20 days.

Public attention to the matter intensified when Sarah Netanyahu remained in the U.S. during her husband's recent hospitalization at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, where the Prime Minister underwent a medical procedure requiring full anesthesia. Adding to the speculation, her name was notably absent from two recent official condolence messages issued by the Prime Minister's office, which typically include both spouses.

In response to the growing rumors, particularly following an unverified report on the unofficial news site "Edna Carnival" suggesting an impending divorce, Eshel issued a comprehensive statement defending the Netanyahu family's unity. "I know well, and no one knows better than me, that terrible lies are being spread on social networks," Eshel wrote, emphasizing his close relationship with the family that spans generations.

Eshel, who claims a deep personal connection with the Netanyahu family dating back to the Prime Minister's parents, described Sarah Netanyahu as a devoted wife and mother. He praised the family's strong bonds, suggesting their relationship should serve as a model for others: "May all of Israel have such a loving relationship as between the Prime Minister and his wife."

The family confidant particularly emphasized the strength of the Netanyahu family unit, including their sons Yair and Avner, whom he described as "loving, talented, successful and family-oriented." His statement concluded with a direct message to Netanyahu's political opponents, asserting that the Prime Minister would remain in the public sphere "for many more years."

The rumors and subsequent denial come at a sensitive time for the Prime Minister, who is currently recovering from his medical procedure while simultaneously managing ongoing national security challenges and negotiations regarding hostages in Gaza.

These developments have garnered significant attention in Israeli media, reflecting the public's continued interest in the personal life of Israel's longest-serving prime minister and his family during a period of national crisis.
