Dozens of hostage families from the Hope Forum and bereaved families from the Heroism Forum will hold an emergency gathering tonight (Monday) at the Heroic Tent in Jerusalem, followed by a protest march to the entrance to the city of Jerusalem under the slogan: "You don't have a mandate to surrender to Hamas."
The families are calling for the release of the hostages only out of victory and the surrender of the enemy, they have called on all those for whom victory and the return of all the hostages are important to come to Jerusalem tonight with them.
The event is expected to be attended by reservists, wounded IDF soldiers and supporters from all over the country. The event will begin at 18:15 in the Heroic Camp, in Agranat Square at the Cinema City intersection, adjacent to the Supreme Court in Jerusalem. An hour later, at 7:15 P.M., the protesters will hold an emergency march to the entrance to the city of Jerusalem. The participants will call on the government to "meet all the objectives of the war and bring victory."
The families stated: "The partial deal that is being made these days is very dangerous. The deal will return only a small part of the hostages and leave most of them behind. In addition, it will endanger the security of Israel and the residents of the south, it will lose important war achievements that cost it with precious blood, and it will also give Hamas air to rehabilitate and become stronger. We cannot agree to such a thing, it is dangerous for the hostages and dangerous for Israel's security. Anyone for whom victory is important must be with us today in Jerusalem and say in a clear voice to the government: You don't have a mandate to surrender to Hamas."
A few weeks ago, the Heroic Forum published an outline in which they outline the conditions for a responsible deal. According to the outline, the IDF must use all the levers at its disposal in order to defeat Hamas and thereby bring about a change in the terms of the deal.
