A four-month-old toddler did not wake up this morning from his sleep at home. Rescue teams were called to the scene quickly, and they evacuated him, while performing CPR, to Assuta Hospital in Ashdod – where he was pronounced dead by the doctors who fought for his life.
The Assuta Ashdod Public Hospital said: "Unfortunately, despite the efforts of the doctors, the four-month-old baby who was evacuated to us in critical condition by United Hatzalah passed away. The hospital wishes to express its condolences to the family."
A spokesperson for United Hatzalah Southern District said that United Hatzalah's medical teams performed CPR on a four-month-old toddler who did not wake up from his sleep at his home in Ashdod.
Moti Weinberg, Aharon Nogrian and Effi Greidinger, paramedics at United Hatzalah, said: "We were told by the family that the toddler lost consciousness while sleeping, we performed CPR on him, and then he was evacuated in critical condition to Assuta Hospital in Ashdod while performing CPR. United Hatzalah resilience teams were working at the scene due to the nature of the incident."
