The IDF conducted intelligence-driven strikes on multiple Hezbollah terror targets in Lebanon over the past several hours (Sunday to Monday), the IDF Spokesperson's Unit announced early Monday morning.
According to the statement, the targeted sites posed significant threats to the Israeli home front and IDF personnel. These threats were presented to the monitoring mechanism established under the ceasefire understandings between Israel and Lebanon but were not addressed, prompting the strikes.
The operations targeted a rocket launcher site, a military compound, and smuggling routes along the Syria-Lebanon border used to transport weapons to Hezbollah.
"The IDF continues to act to remove any threat to the State of Israel and will prevent any attempt by the Hezbollah terrorist organization to rebuild its forces in accordance with the ceasefire understandings," the Spokesperson's Unit stated.
