In the coming days, an official delegation of the Yesha (Judea, Samaria and Gaza) Council will leave for the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump, in order to represent the settlements and express support for the new administration.
The members of the delegation will bring with them the blessing of the settlement movement to the President and the designated members of the administration.
The delegation will include: the head of the Binyamin Regional Council and the chairman of the Yesha Council, Yisrael Gantz; head of the Samaria Regional Council, Yossi Dagan; Head of the Oranit Council, Or Firon Sommer; The Director General of the Yesha Council, Omer Rahamim, the Chief of Staff of Yossi Dagan, Yonatan Dubov, and the Head of the Overseas Desk of the Yesha Council, Eliana Pasantin.
More than a month ago, official invitations were received to participate in the ceremony for the head of the Samaria Regional Council, Yossi Dagan, and the head of the Yesha Council, Yisrael Gantz.
The delegation is also expected to participate in other events as part of the swearing-in ceremony and meet with key figures and the Jewish community in the United States.
