Report: Iran fortifies air defenses ahead of potential strike on nuclear sites
Reports suggest Iran anticipates an attack before Trump's inauguration.

Iran is preparing for an attack against the country's nuclear facilities while nsetting up new air defense systems near sensitive locations, the Iranian news agency Tasnim, the official channel of the Revolutionary Guards, reported on Tuesday.
At the end of October, Israel carried out an attack that destroyed important air defense systems in Iran, in response to the Iranian ballistic missile attack launched earlier this month.
Khatam al-Anbiya, the commander of Iran's air defense base, said on Monday that a series of new and covert air defense systems had been installed near the country's sensitive sites.
Iran is continuing to develop its nuclear project, despite the denials, and according to the report, a unique exercise was held in the country near the sites where the project is developing, where they tried to attack a "hostile bunker" missile, and at the same time it was checked that the air defense systems were working as required in the event of a counter-response.
"Iranian air defense units were able to intercept and destroy a missile reflecting the characteristics of a 'hostile bunker' with a homemade missile system during a military exercise near a nuclear site in central Iran," the report said.
