Chairwoman of the Land of Israel Caucus, MK Limor Sohn Har-Melekh, spoke with Arutz 7 News following a deadly terror attack today (Monday) in Samaria that left several victims, including her brother-in-law, injured.
“I send my heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives in today’s tragic attack in Samaria,” Sohn Har-Melekh said. “One of the injured is my brother-in-law, a reservist who has volunteered for years in the Gaza Strip. In an act of bravery, he turned his car into a barrier to protect other drivers heading toward Kedumim. As the terrorists fled, they sprayed his vehicle with bullets.”
Sohn Har-Melekh called for decisive action, arguing that Israel must adopt a unified approach to fighting terrorism. “We cannot continue to bury our heads in the sand. Terrorists in Judea and Samaria must be treated the same as those in Rafah. These are people who aim to destroy us and erase us from our land. If we fail to acknowledge this reality, we will continue to suffer unbearable losses.”
She urged the government and the IDF to respond with strength, saying, “We must launch an offensive operation in Judea and Samaria to eradicate terrorism at its root.”
