The State Attorney announced today (Monday) that it has filed an indictment in Tel Aviv District Court against three minors aged 15-17 from the Triangle area, on the border of Judea and Samaria, with multiple defense crimes including contact with an outside agent, use of weapons for terrorist purposes, and more.
The three were reportedly friends of a terrorist killed in clashes with the IDF in April 2024. While at his funeral, the three got in touch with members of the "Nur A-Shams Battalion," a terrorist organization operating in and around the Nur A-Shams refugee camp.
The Battalion is known for conducting armed attacks on IDF soldiers and nearby Israeli targets, as well as fortifying the camp and burying IEDs to kill IDF soldiers.
The three suspects sought to learn how to make explosives, sought to carry out terrorist attacks against security forces and Israelis in general, conducted illegal weapons training, and also helped erect obstacles to IDF surveillance of the camp.
