With Trump's entry: The next dramatic step in defeating Hamas

With the beginning of Donald Trump's term in about three weeks, Israel is considering a dramatic reduction of humanitarian aid to Gaza, as reported by Channel 12.

For many months now, it has been understood in Israel that the humanitarian aid entering Gaza is reaching Hamas, which uses it to rebuild its capabilities. However, until now, the Biden administration has not allowed Israel to send less humanitarian aid to Gaza.

A political source told Channel 12 that the next step in defeating Hamas will likely involve the issue of humanitarian trucks, and Israel hopes that the Trump administration will adopt a different approach. As he stated, "There is great doubt whether the amount of aid currently being sent to the Gaza Strip will be similar to the amount that will be sent under the Trump administration." According to the source, if this is decided, it will be done in coordination with the new administration in the U.S. and with the understanding that if the current situation is maintained, Hamas will remain in power.
