Millions Of Israelis Get No Sleep

IDF intercepts Houthi missile - and a drone a few hours later

The Houthi leader boasted before of how Houthi attacks were disturbing the sleep of millions of Israelis every night, despite the general lack of success in penetrating Israeli air space.

Early this morning (Friday), the IDF intercepted a missile fired from Yemen by the Iran-backed Houthis at Israel which penetrated into Israeli airspace. Interception fragments reportedly landed in multiple places in Israel, including in the settlement of Har Gilo (above).

The missile launch triggered sirens throughout the center and south of the country.

A few hours later, a drone was intercepted by the IDF outside Israeli airspace. No sirens were activated based on "policy."

The Houthis are continuing their policy of firing projectiles and drones at Israel despite multiple large scale bombardments of their strategic installations and ports by both the Israeli Air Force and those of the American coalition in the Red Sea.

Houthi leaders remain defiant that they will not stop attacking Israel until the IDF withdraws from Gaza and ends its blockade of the Gaza Strip.
