Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office stated a short time ago today (Thursday) that Netanyahu has been released from the hospital following a prostate removal operation.

Hadassah Hospital said that Netanyahu was released today from the Ein Karem hospital following a prostate removal operation last Sunday. His doctors said he leaves the hospital in stable condition and is recovering in a satisfactory manner, and now must recover at home.

Channel 13 reporter Moriah Asraf says that his doctors recommended Netanyahu rest and recover for two weeks, which means his further testimony during his trial may be delayed again.

Hadassah said that post-operation monitoring will continue as normal. Netanyahu wished to thank Hadassah experts and their team, as well as his personal physician, Dr. Tzvika Berkowitz, who treated him with dedication.

The Prime Minister had been forced to leave his sick bed to pass a critical law for the coalition after National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir voted against it over a separate budgetary row with Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich.
