With a giant menorah on the Ayalon: Families of hostages have blocked the southern Ayalon near the Yitzhak Sadeh Bridge in the past hour (Wednesday) demanding a comprehensive deal and an end to the war, following a Health Ministry report describing the ordeal the hostages are undergoing at the hands of Hamas militants.

The families lit a giant menorah on the road and said, "No miracles without actions."

"Netanyahu continues to thwart and sabotage the deal."

From the families, it was stated: "Our families are going through a Holocaust in Hamas captivity due to Netanyahu's decision to abandon them there. Instead of ending the war in exchange for a comprehensive deal that would bring back all the captives, he continues to thwart and sabotage the deal. On the last candle of Hanukkah, we don't need miracles for them to return, but real actions from our leadership that will decide 'never again' is now."

It is said that this week the Ministry of Health submitted a comprehensive report to the UN documenting the abuses and torture the hostages underwent in Hamas captivity, with the findings indicating severe harm to the hostages, including intentional starvation that led to a loss of up to 18% of their body weight.

According to the testimonies presented in the report, two children who were held together in captivity reported that they were tied up and beaten throughout the entire period of captivity. Their bodies showed signs of binding, scars, and marks consistent with trauma. Two additional young children were found with burn marks on their lower limbs. One of them testified that the burns were caused by intentional burning with a heated object.

One of the abducted women testified that she was sexually assaulted under threat of a weapon by a Hamas terrorist. In several cases, the kidnappers forced women of all ages to undress while they and others watched. Some women reported sexual assaults, and others recounted being tied to beds while the kidnappers stared at them.
