In the context of the stalemate in the negotiations for the release of hostages, a senior figure in the murderous terrorist organization Hamas says that the negotiations conducted so far have not been about the release of the hostages at all, but rather about stopping the war in Gaza. The terrorist organization has already requested for a ceasefire without the condition of releasing hostages but rather to "be sure of who is still alive" and supposedly to compile a list of hostages they are willing to release after that period.
i24NEWS journalist Guy Azriel reported this evening: "There is pressure from the mediators on Hamas to be flexible, meanwhile, there is a campaign by Hamas stating that the negotiations are not about the hostages but about stopping the war." We have taken a step back. Hamas is also spreading various numbers regarding the amount of hostages that will be released, but in Israel, they clarify that Hamas is lying and conducting psychological warfare.
