Ever wished for a white winter in the Holy Land? Well, Mount Hermon is delivering BIG TIME! A whopping 55 centimeters of powdery goodness has blanketed the upper peak, with the lower level not far behind at 40 cm.
Our friends at the Hermon site are practically doing snow dances up there: "The snow just keeps coming, and coming, and coming!" (Okay, they actually said "The snow system continues with great intensity" but we know they're excited!)
Mount Hermon is currently closed to visitors and designated as a military area.
Weather Update:
The rest of Israel is getting its fair share of winter drama too! Expect the rain party to wind down by afternoon, but temperatures are staying cozy-sweater-worthy across the country.
Temperature Check (AKA: How Many Layers Should You Wear?):
* Jerusalem: 6-9°
* Tel Aviv: 9-14°
* Haifa: 9-14°
* Safed: 5-8°
* Ashdod: 10-15°
* Beer Sheva: 9-13°

Looking Ahead:
* Wednesday: Clouds playing peek-a-boo, temperatures climbing
* Thursday: Sun making a comeback, temperatures returning to their regular scheduled programming
* Friday: Clear skies, perfect for Shabbat preparations!
Stay warm, Israel! 🇮🇱
