The forces swiftly encircled the hospital, ensuring the safe evacuation of civilians from the area. Kamal Adwan Hospital is situated in an active combat zone, and the surrounding area was rigged with explosives and booby traps by the terrorists. During the operation, approximately 20 terrorists were killed, and numerous powerful explosives were neutralized.

The raid was carried out following extensive intelligence efforts, with key contributions from the Intelligence Directorate and the ISA. Field investigators from Unit 504 directed the apprehension operation, conducting hundreds of interrogations to identify and detain terrorists, most of whom belonged to Hamas and Islamic Jihad. The apprehended terrorists are expected to provide crucial intelligence to support ongoing military operations.

The IDF also noted that several terrorists attempted to pose as patients or hide in ambulances but were swiftly identified and arrested. Of the 240 terrorists captured, 15 were confirmed to have infiltrated Israeli territory and taken part in the October 7th massacre.

The IDF emphasized that the Kamal Adwan raid is part of a broader series of ongoing targeted operations by the 401st Brigade in the Jabaliya region.
