The IDF and the municipality of Sderot announced that five rockets were fired at the city a short time ago today (Sunday), with two being intercepted and the remaining three "apparently" falling in open areas.
The city of Sderot also said that rocket fragments, likely a result of the interception, were found within the city area, but that there were no reports of injuries or physical damage at the present time.
Hamas had previously fired two rockets at the Shfela and Jerusalem area yesterday from the northern Gaza Strip. Both were intercepted, and the IDF destroyed the rocket array used a short time later.
The IDF continues to operate in the northern Gaza Strip with the aim of dismantling what remains of Hamas forces in the area, including rocket arsenals and production and launch sites.
