Early Friday morning, at approximately 3:30 a.m., sirens blared in cities and towns across central Israel, the Shfela (Lowlands), and Judea following the launch of a missile from Yemen.

Residents reported seeing interceptions in the skies, as the IDF Spokesperson Unit confirmed that a single missile was successfully intercepted before crossing into Israeli territory. The sirens were activated due to the potential threat of falling debris from the interception.

Paramedics and EMTs from Magen David Adom provided medical care to 18 individuals injured while rushing to shelters. Additionally, two people were treated for anxiety. No injuries caused by shrapnel or falling debris were reported.

The Fire and Rescue Authority confirmed that no unusual incidents were reported in the Dan District.

In response to the sirens, Ben Gurion Airport temporarily suspended arrivals for about half an hour, resuming operations shortly after.
