After Israel's surprise attack in Yemen this afternoon (Thursday), Israel is preparing for a possible response by the Houthis in the form of missiles fired towards cities in central Israel.
An Israeli source told Sky News in Arabic that "the Israeli army is raising the alert level of the air defense systems and the air force, in preparation for a possible response by the Houthis."
The leader of the Houthi terrorist organization, Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, earlier referred to Israel's attack on Yemen a short time ago, saying that Israel has no ability to defeat the Houthis.
According to the Channel 12 report, al-Houthi said: "The ongoing operations from Yemen using drones and missiles towards Israel, including Tel Aviv, are evidence of a failure towards Yemen." He added that "Israel has an intelligence challenge in Yemen and a failure to obtain the necessary information."
He claimed that "Israeli deterrence has failed against our country, despite the aggressive attacks that hit civilian facilities in Sana'a and Hodeidah."
