The IDF Air Force is reportedly conducting a strike against the Yemeni airport of Sana'a, under Houthi control, today (Thursday) during a speech by the leader of the Iran-backed Houthi army, which has harassed Israel with drones and missiles for the past few weeks.
An Israeli source speaking to Channel 12 reporter Almog Boker said that "We are attacking in Yemen, the Houthis will pay a heavy price."
According to Yediot Acharonot reporter Yossi Yehoshua, the strike is hitting a number of targets within Yemen as part of a broader strike against infrastructures in the country.
The Saudi channel al-Hadath says that so far, the Sana'a airport (seven strikes), the port of Hodeidah (three strikes), and power stations and oil sites have been hit.
