During ongoing operations in Jebaliya by the 401st Brigade's combat team, operating under the 162nd Division, the IDF located and destroyed a tunnel dozens of meters deep and two kilometers wide, with facilities to ensure a long stay for Hamas terrorists.

In additional activity in the area, IDF forces located and destroyed multiple weapons, uniforms, and additional military equipment.
They also destroyed a structure used for producing improvised explosive devices, which are frequently used to ambush IDF troops in the Gaza Strip and in Judea and Samaria.
The latest such ambush occurred near Beit Hanoun, killing three soldiers in one go.
