The Tehran City Council decided today (Tuesday) to rename one of the city's streets after Yahya Sinwar, the Hamas leader who masterminded October 7th and who was eliminated over a month ago by the IDF, according to Iran International.
The Tehran City Council said that it was renaming Bisotun Street in the northern part of the city after the slain terrorist leader. A proposal to rename part of the Lashgari Highway after slain Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was rejected, however.
The drone used to identify Yahya Sinwar's whereabouts was reportedly purchased by a friend of Israel and former soldier in New Jersey, who is descended from the Satmar Rebbe.
The drone spotted a group of armed men moving between buildings in an area where the IDF was operating, helping the soldiers track down and kill them - including the leader of the terrorist group.
