The IDF has successfully concluded a two-week cyberdefense exercise in collaboration with the US Cyber Command, the military announced on Tuesday.
Named "CYBERDOME IX," the drill, held in the United States, aimed to strengthen the cyberdefense capabilities of both nations. The exercise simulated a range of scenarios focused on regional cyber threats, with participation from dozens of IDF soldiers and US Cyber Command personnel.
IDF Cyber Defense Directorate chief, Major-General Aviad Dagan, visited the exercise and highlighted the significance of the collaboration. "The 'CYBERDOME IX' exercise demonstrates the critical importance of cooperation between Israel and the United States in the cyber domain," Maj.-Gen. Dagan said. "It provides a strategic platform to enhance professional ties, exchange knowledge and capabilities, and jointly bolster the defense of both nations' digital infrastructures. This partnership is vital in addressing the evolving global cyber threats we face today."
