ZAKA volunteers celebrated the completion of masechet Bava Batra yesterday (Thursday) at the organization's logistic center, as part of a Zoom-based Daf Yomi program.

ZAKA, an organization dedicated to locating and identifying the dead from accidents, criminal acts, and especially terrorist attacks, spent many weeks on the scene after the October 7th massacre, collecting bodies and body parts from many locations.

Lachish area operations officer Yossi Landau established a Zoom-based Daf Yomi program as part of an effort to help volunteers traumatized by the scenes and carnage of the massacre. It ended up having a surprising attendance of hundreds.

The siyum ceremony was attended by Rabbi Gedaliah Zlotowitz, publisher of Artscroll in the United States.
