Israeli forces have uncovered and destroyed a significant Hezbollah weapons stockpile in southern Lebanon, including artillery pieces and anti-tank missiles positioned to strike Israeli territory.

The operation, carried out by the IDF's 300th Brigade Combat Team, revealed multiple launch sites and a Hezbollah observation post, all within striking distance of Israeli communities along the northern border.

"The weapons depot contained everything from anti-tank missiles to artillery cannons," an IDF spokesperson said. "Each of these positions posed a direct threat to Israeli civilians."

This latest discovery comes amid escalating tensions along the Israel-Lebanon border, where Israeli forces are working to eliminate Hezbollah military infrastructure while trying to maintain delicate diplomatic understandings with Lebanon.
