Twenty-two Breslov Hasidim entered Joseph's Tomb in Nablus by bus, alone and without coordination with the army. The bus driver dropped them off on the spot and on his way out of the city, terrorists fired at him.
The IDF entered Joseph's Tomb and took out the Hassidim, who were transferred together with the driver to the police
The bus driver sustained minor injuries from the gunfire and received treatment from military medics at the scene. The IDF has launched an investigation into the incident.
This attack follows a similar event last week when three Breslov Hasidim entered Joseph's Tomb without coordinating with the IDF. Terrorists fired on their vehicle, causing light injuries to the occupants, who managed to drive themselves to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital in Jerusalem for medical care.
The IDF noted, "Shots were fired at an Israeli vehicle that illegally breached a checkpoint and entered Shechem. The passengers exited the city on their own for medical attention, and the matter is under investigation."
The three individuals involved in last week’s incident were later detained by Israel Police for questioning. Authorities reiterated that entering Area A, under Palestinian Authority control, is both dangerous and prohibited by Israeli law.
