Red alert sirens were activated across central Israel and Samaria on Monday afternoon following the launch of a ballistic missile from Yemen. The missile was intercepted before entering Israeli airspace, and missile debris was found in Leshem, Samaria, as well as in northern Jerusalem.

Alerts were also heard in several communities in the Sharon, Shephelah, and Samaria regions.
The IDF stated that they intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, with the interception taking place before the missile crossed into Israeli territory. Alerts were activated due to concerns about falling interception debris. Since the beginning of November, the Houthis in Yemen have fired 6 ballistic missiles and about 5 drones towards Israel.

This marks the second missile launch from Yemen against Israel in a single day. Earlier this morning, a naval missile ship successfully intercepted an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) launched from Yemen over the Mediterranean Sea, preventing it from crossing into Israeli territory.
Since November, the Houthi rebels in Yemen have launched six ballistic missiles and five drones towards Israel.
