Iranian Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said today (Sunday) that "The International Criminal Court's arrest warrant for Benjamin Netanyahu is not enough, and the 55 countries where the death penalty exists can come together, form a court, and issue a death sentence for him," saying that "this is not impossible," according to Iran International.
Iran has not backed down from its desire to eliminate Israel despite multiple strategic setbacks, including the fall of their ally Bashar Assad in Syria, the weakening of the arsenal and forces of its proxy army Hezbollah in Lebanon, and the near total collapse of Hamas' army in Gaza.
Even the Islamist Republic's attempt to attack Israel directly with two salvos of drones and missiles has only caused minor damage and resulted in an Israeli air strike that left it bereft of air defenses and wide open to a far more devastating strike should it attack again.
Prime Minister Netanyahu is reportedly in talks with President-elect Trump regarding the need to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon, even discussing a joint Israel-US strike against the country's nuclear weapons sites, though Trump has stressed he wants to avoid all out war with Iran to do so.
