Following intelligence on the presence of terrorists throughout the Beit Hanoun area, forces of the Givati Brigade combat team under the 162nd Division raided the suspected area, killing dozens of terrorists with ground and air strikes and capturing many more.
The Kfir Brigade similarly attacked terrorists in the Beit Lahia area, killing multiple terrorists from the ground and air and seizing and destroying weapons including rifles, explosive devices, and other equipment.
In addition, and based on precise intelligence, the Air Force struck terrorist units preparing to attack IDF forces in the immediate future in three different locations in the Gaza Strip, as well as the disused Abu Shabak medical clinic, which became a compound for Hamas terrorists to store weapons and coordinate attacks.
The IDF said that it used multiple means to reduce civilian casualties, including overflights, precise munitions, and additional intelligence information.
