The bus arrived at the tunnel checkpoint with the injured on board following the terror attack incident where it was sprayed with 19 gunshot rounds injuring multiple civilians. The terrorist is currently classified as a fugitive after escaping the scene.
Following the shooting attack at the tunnels checkpoint, four people have been injured including a child of about 10 years old in critical condition, and two more injured in moderate to serious condition.
The terrorist is reported to have fled to the Jerusalem-Bethlehem area, IDF and Special forces are surrounding the area in an active manhunt as the threat of another terror attack is an imminent concern.

At 23:36, a report was received at the MDA 101 center in the Jerusalem area about gunfire towards a bus on Highway 60 near Beit Jala. MDA paramedics and medics are providing medical treatment and evacuating two injured individuals to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, including a 10-year-old boy in serious condition with gunshot wounds and a 40-year-old woman in light condition with gunshot wounds. Two additional lightly injured individuals were evacuated from the scene.

A 10-year-old boy in critical condition.
24 years old with a gunshot wound in stable condition and conscious.
and a 55-year-old with shrapnel in a light condition and conscious.
