The IDF announced that four battalion combat teams, including infantry, commando, engineering, Armour, Yahalom, and observation forces, are operating in a proactive forward defense mission under the command of Division 210.
According to the IDF Spokesperson's announcement, the forces of the 474th battalion combat team continue to operate in controlling positions in the buffer zone. The forces are acting against threats along the border and identifying terrorism. During the searches, they located and confiscated several unused Syrian tanks.
At the same time, forces from the 'Mountains' Brigade (810) and fighters from the Shaldag Unit completed a battalion operation in the Syrian Golan Heights in the buffer zone. As part of it, they located a Syrian army outpost and discovered and confiscated numerous weapons, including mines, explosives, anti-tank missiles, and additional military equipment.
Additionally, the Paratrooper Brigade Combat Team forces are engaged in a defense mission for the residents of the north, aiming to protect and eliminate threats in the buffer zone between Syria and Israel. The Commando Brigade Combat Team forces are carrying out the defense mission using special means in proactive defense activities.
The commander of the Bashan Division emphasized: "The mission before us is to protect the residents of the Golan Heights and the citizens of the State of Israel." We will continue to protect and monitor against any threat.
