In broad daylight: Haredi cyclist attacked in Jerusalem
A yeshiva student was violently beaten in Ramot; East Jerusalem residents arrested as the victim recovers in moderate condition.

A 20-year-old Haredi man who is a yeshiva student, was attacked last night (Tuesday) in the Ramot neighborhood of Jerusalem, by a number of East Jerusalem residents who were working on a construction site in the neighborhood.
The incident began when the young man was riding his bicycle, and an Arab who was passing by blocked his way. The suspect refused to clear the road, ran towards him while shouting "Allahu Akbar," and called his friends who were working at a nearby construction site. During the attack, an iron rod was thrown at the victim.
The young man tried to flee the scene and left his bicycle behind, but when he returned a few minutes later to take it, he discovered that it had been vandalized. At that moment, he was attacked with severe physical violence, and as a result of the attack, the young man lost consciousness and was injured in the head.
A passerby who was at the scene managed to prevent a large stone from being thrown at the victim, while other youths who arrived following calls for help drove the attackers away and called the police.
The young man was taken to hospital, where his condition this morning is described as moderate. The police managed to arrest the suspects after an initial investigation. The victim claims that this was a nationalist incident, while the suspects claimed in their interrogation that it was a mutual attack.
A police source told Channel14 this morning that an initial investigation raises suspicion of a mutual fight, however, as mentioned, the family members claim that it was a terror attack.
