Meanwhile, White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan will soon depart from the United States to Israel, aiming to assist in finalizing a hostage deal with Hamas. From Biden's office, it was reported that Sullivan will depart within days for an urgent visit to Israel, during which he will assist in the ongoing efforts to reach a hostage deal. According to the White House, Sullivan is coming "to assist in any way the United States can to facilitate a deal that will bring the hostages home."
Additionally, Sullivan will arrive in Israel and hold meetings with senior political and security officials, who will discuss the implications of the recent developments in Syria, Lebanon, and Iran. With special emphasis on maintaining security stability in the region following the fall of the Assad regime.
