The former Minister of Defense, Knesset member Yoav Galant from Likud, who was dismissed from his position last month, has made a decision regarding his political life and the framework in which he intends to run in the upcoming elections.
According to a report by Nadav Il in the newspaper 'Yedioth Ahronoth', despite the speculation that Gallant will leave Likud, he intends to remain in the party and even run in the next primaries that will be held before the elections scheduled for 2026.
Let's remember that last month, exactly two days after being dismissed from his position, the outgoing Minister of Defense, Yoav Galant, addressed his political future and clarified that he does not intend to resign from the Knesset.
Journalist Kobi Finkler revealed in the evening edition of 'Kol Chai' radio that he asked Gallant whether, now that he has been dismissed from his position, he intends to retire from political life.
According to Finkler, Gallant replied to him: "I remain a Knesset member in every respect." It is worth noting that Galant did not say that he intends to continue in Likud, but only that he intends to continue serving as a member of Knesset.
