Staff Sergeant Binyamin Destaw Negose fell in battle in Lebanon  

Negose from Beit Shemesh, is the 17th casualty from that city in the current war; may his memory be a blessing.

Staff Sergeant Binyamin Destaw Negose from Beit Shemesh, fell in battle in southern Lebanon. His funeral will take place today (Monday) at 03:00 p.m. on Mount Herzl, Jerusalem.

The Beit Shemesh Municipality eulogized him: "It is with great sorrow that Beit Shemesh announces the death of Sgt. Binyamin Destaw Negose, a native of the city of Beit Shemesh, who was killed in southern Lebanon, while heroically defending the security of the State of Israel and its residents. Binyamin Negusa is the 17th soldier from the city of Beit Shemesh to fall in the current war. The Beit Shemesh Municipality mourns the loss of the dear family, accompanies and embraces them in these difficult moments. The municipality teams will provide the family with all the necessary support."

Mayor Shmuel Greenberg arrived at the family's home and said: "The tears have not yet dried from the fall of Staff Sergeant Zamir Burke and this morning we woke up to the loss of another Sergeant Major BinyaminDestaw Negose. The heart hurts and words find it difficult to express the magnitude of the loss. We will remember his heroism for the defense of the people of Israel, forever."
