Let's Hope So!

PM Benjamin Netanyahu: Assad's fall may help a hostage deal

Prime Minister Netanyahu met with both the more dovish Hostages Families Forum and the hawkish Tikvah Forum, each representing hostage families, to discuss the options after Assad's fall.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today (Sunday) with both the Hostages Families Forum and the Tikva Forum to discuss the new possibilities for a deal following the fall of Syrian dictator Bashar Assad.

According to the Prime Minister's Office, Netanyahu believes that the fall of Assad, which he claims is thanks to the IDF's war on Hamas and Hezbollah, opens the door to a possible deal.

The Hostages Families Forum released a statement earlier today saying that Netanyahu committed to ensuring bodies are released with live hostages at every stage of the deal, without one coming at the expense of the other.
