Liberman: "Imagine Syria or the rebels with a nuke" - and think about Iran

Former Defense Minister and Yisrael Beytenu party leader MK Avigdor Liberman said today (Sunday) that now is the time to attack Iran's nuclear weapons program.

In a post he wrote on X, Liberman said "in September 2007, we destroyed the Syrian nuclear reactor. Imagine Assad or the rebels today with a nuclear bomb."

In that context, he reminded that "now Iran, which has suffered a serious blow and is withdrawing from Syria, is increasing the rate of its uranium enrichment and is approaching a nuclear bomb. This is the time to stop talking and start acting."
