The leaders of Palestinian Islamic Jihad have fled Syria due to the war, some to Iran and some to Iraq, according to Kann News.
According to the report, the terrorist leadership decided Lebanon was too close to the IDF as a new hiding place, so the political leader fled to Iran and the military leadership to Iraq.
This will reportedly lead to real strategic differences, as now the terrorist leaders will be even further away from their operatives in Judea and Samaria and in the Gaza Strip and their influence may weaken accordingly.
