Captain Avraham Ben-Pinchas fell in Gaza
Recovered from injuries, he rejoined the fight, only to pay the ultimate price. May his memory be a blessing.

The IDF announced yesterday (Saturday) the death of Captain Avraham Ben-Pinchas, 23, who was killed in battle in the southern Gaza Strip. A native of Mahrasha, Capt. Ben-Pinchas served as a platoon commander in the 46th Battalion of the 401st Brigade.
Capt. Ben-Pinchas sustained a head wound nearly two months ago during combat in Gaza but made the courageous decision to return to the battlefield.
His dedication was commemorated in a heartfelt Facebook post by Israel Gantz, head of the Binyamin Regional Council. "We bow our heads at the loss of the heroic Avraham, a respected officer who led his soldiers in the fight against the Gazan enemy with the mission to eradicate it and bring back the hostages," Gantz wrote.
Gantz expressed condolences to Ben-Pinchas' family and the Mahrasha community, adding, "We pray that the family finds strength and that God grants them great comfort. Binyamin sends its condolences and support."
Posthumously promoted from lieutenant to captain, Ben-Pinchas is survived by his parents and nine siblings. The family has endured past tragedy, having lost a daughter in a car accident four years ago.
